Which areas do we cover?
We generally work around and in the main streets of Windermere and Bowness as well as Ambleside and the surrounding areas.

What services do we provide?
General cleaning of windows also facias, woodwork frames and insides of properties. All can be cleaned by arrangement.

Property maintenance which includes but is not limited to; cleaning out of gutters, downspouts and repairs, builders cleans, complete property cleans (excluding upholstery), power washing, patios, decking, canopies etc. We also cater for minor painting and joinery work.

We can also provide upkeep of difficult to reach areas for example; lightbulbs, window boxes, decorations, street banners and solar panels.

How realiable are we?
We build our business on reliability and trust. We want our customers to trust our quality of work carried out. We call regularly on an agreed contract between you the customer and ourselves.

How often do we call?
We can clean twice a week or weekly. 2 weekly, 4 weekly or 8 weekly. Some larger properties we can clean 12, 16 or 20 weekly.

What is our pricing structure?
We aim to keep our prices as low as possible. Shop front prices start from £2.50 per clean. Typical 2-3 bedroom home prices start from £7.50, call 07741 018176 for no obligation quote.

Please note that there is an annual price increase in August.

How do we take payment?
Most customers pay as we clean ie pay on the day of clean. If you are out when we call you can send payment by cheque to our address. Drop payment off or use BACS. Quarterly payment method are available please ask to arrange.

How long have we been established?
Lake District Window Cleaning Services & Sons was established in 1991. We are a third generation window cleaning family in the Lake District registered and LTD

What insurance do we have?
We are fully insured for all complusory insurances, public liability and employer liability. Feel free to inspect our policies on request.

What system do we use?
We use an approved water fed Brodex system that we maintain to a high standard to assure high quality cleaning. We cover heights up to 40 feet safely. We also use the more traditional method of cleaning windows with applicator and squeegee with ladders .

Do we clean holiday homes?
Yes and we can send the bill to your home address to avoid confusion

How do we handle health and safety?
Health and safety is one of our main priorities at our work place we take our safety and yours paramount. We risk assess each clean.

Who do we employ?
We currently employ 5 staff made up of people that live in Windermere and the surrounding areas. Also , there's myself, Vince (director) and my wife, Lisa (secretary) along with my son, who is likewise a director of the company.
